Feline Wellness Care

Wellness Exams

Preventative veterinary care, including regular physical examinations, can help with early detection of feline diseases. It is important to remember that even cats that live indoors require regular examinations, vaccinations and deworming. Regular wellness exams develop a health profile for your cat throughout all stages of their life from kitten to senior to identify irregular medical issues that affect your cat’s health and quality of life. A wellness examination includes an evaluation of all your cat’s major organ systems, vital signs, behavior, appetite, exercise habits, and regular activities at home. We will also discuss routine diagnostic testing and vaccinations that are due for your cat’s individual protection needs. This could include annual blood and urine testing.  This is also a perfect opportunity for our veterinarians to address any questions or concerns you may have.
